Job summary

Intermountain Health Firestone Clinic seeks a Medical Assistant to support clinicians by gathering patient information and assisting during visits. You will communicate with patients across phone and in-person channels, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, privacy, and PHI protection. A Medical Assistant program or MA experience plus BLS and EMR familiarity are required.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program or one year of Medical Assistant Experience or a current RN/LPN license.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers; must be obtained prior to start date.
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under clinician direction, gathering information relevant to visit and condition.
• Communicate clearly with patients via telephone and in-person interactions.
