Job summary

The Wright Center is seeking a motivated Medical Assistant to support clinical teams and help manage patient care at our health center. You will perform vital signs, medication reconciliation, history taking, and data entry in the EMR while maintaining a clean and compliant environment.

You will work under supervision with the Medical Assistant Manager/Health Center Manager and providers, participating in quality assurance and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CMA/CNA preferred.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent training.
• Basic life support certification required; bilingual skills desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering health care management within the health center.
• Support primary clinical teams and maintain patient flow.
• Perform vital signs, prep patients, and assist providers during visits.
• Complete medication reconciliation and collect histories as needed.
• Enter data in EMR and maintain accurate patient records.
• Stock rooms, manage supplies, and ensure a clean, safe environment.
• Follow HIPAA, safety policies, and professional standards.
