Job summary

Aurora Medical Group in Milwaukee, part of Advocate Health, is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the care team with clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring patient safety and confidentiality.

You will welcome patients, record vital signs, assist during exams, administer vaccines, perform lab tasks, document in the EHR, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to deliver coordinated, high-quality care. Full-time, Mon-Fri, 8:30am–5pm, at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center.

Qualifications

• Must have MA diploma or 2 years MA experience, or be a certified MA.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong professionalism and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
