Job summary

Berks Genesis Family Medicine PC is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team. You will prepare for patient visits by pulling charts and notes, and provide routine support alongside nurses and practitioners to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities include setting up equipment, assisting with basic care, tracking tests and lab reports, handling calls, and maintaining a clean, stocked clinic environment. Prior office experience is valued.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification or CMA is preferred.
• Strong customer service experience in a medical setting.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for patient visits by pulling charts and notes and setting up medical equipment.
• Clean instruments and equipment after use.
• Answer phones and field questions about medical issues and visit needs.
• Assist nurses and doctors with basic medical care and procedures.
• Track lab results, relay information, and handle basic medical office duties.
