Job summary

Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and clinic operations on a Monday-Friday schedule. You will assist with patient care, clerical tasks, appointment scheduling and chart management to help patients access services.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, CMA preferred, current BLS, and at least one year in a public-contact role with healthcare experience. Full-time, dayshift, on-site in Illinois.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent or relevant experience required.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum one year work experience in public contact job.
• Work experience in health care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental and organization tasks.
• Assist with appointment scheduling and chart management.
• Provide information to patients so they may utilize clinic services.
• Convey a positive image of the organization.
