UCHealth in Aurora, CO is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support the Um AMC area. This on-site role involves assisting with patient care, basic clinical tasks, specimen collection, and administrative duties in a fast-paced setting.

Required qualifications include a High School diploma or GED and BLS certification. Candidates with 3 years MA experience or MA program completion are encouraged to apply. Schedule is day shift, 80 hours per pay period.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School diploma or GED.
• Required licensure/certification: BLS Healthcare Provider.
• Minimum experience: 3 years of Medical Assistant experience OR graduate of an accredited medical assistant program.

Responsabilités

• Assist with patient care under supervision.
• Perform basic clinical skills and specimen collection; monitor and communicate patient condition changes.
• Maintain equipment and supplies; reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting of examination areas.
• Perform administrative duties including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
• Work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment; exercise decisive judgement.
