U.S. Dermatology Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant to support licensed providers in clinic and surgical settings. You will deliver compassionate, patient-centered care, assist with exams and procedures, and help with specimen collection and vital signs.

Responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, maintaining sterile technique, documenting patient information, and coordinating appointments while prioritizing safety and quality care for every patient.

Qualifikationen

• Provide assistance to licensed medical provider in clinic and surgical settings.
• Must assist with exams, procedures, injections and sutures as directed.
• Record medical history, medications, allergies and test results accurately.
• Maintain sterile technique and proper disposal of waste.
• Schedule appointments and communicate treatment plans to patients.

Aufgaben

• Serve as patient advocate during exams and treatment.
• Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure vital signs.
• Show patients to examination or operative rooms and prepare them for the physician.
• Record medical history, medications, allergies, and test results.
• Prepare and administer medications as directed, following safety protocols.
• Collect blood, tissue or other specimens and log for testing.
• Explain treatment procedures, medications, and aftercare to patients.
• Assist physicians with injections and sutures; maintain sterile field.
• Prepare treatment rooms; ensure supplies and equipment are ready.
• Inspect sterile items and organize supplies on the sterile field.
• Respond to emergencies per policies; document accordingly.
• Inventory and order medical supplies; keep equipment in working order.
• Perform routine laboratory tests and document procedures.
• Coordinate appointments and communicate with other facilities as needed.
