NYU Langone Hospital-Long Island is seeking a Medical Assistant, FGP - Huntington, to support physicians, nurses and care teams in patient care, rooming, vitals, blood draws and EMR data entry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Certification from a national MA body (AAMA/AMT/NCCT/NHA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for visit.
• Measure and record vital signs; draw blood when needed.
• Assist physicians and nurses in patient care and exam setup.
• Process and document information in EPIC accurately.
