Align ENT + Allergy in Hamden, CT is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This full-time, in-person role supports clinicians with exams, patient intake, and administrative tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have MA experience across outpatient clinics or urgent care, with familiarity in ENT/Allergy and BLS. Proficiency in EHR systems and accurate documentation is essential for excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Medical Assistant in outpatient clinics, urgent care, or hospital settings.
• Knowledge of ENT/Allergy/Asthma is helpful.
• Familiarity with basic life support (BLS) protocols.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) for patient documentation.

Responsabilités

• Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
• Perform intake assessments, including vital signs and history documentation.
• Administer medications as directed and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Support scheduling, medical records, and referrals; ensure ICD coding basics.
