Job summary

CarolinaEast Health System in New Bern, NC seeks a Medical Assistant to support physicians with patient care and clerical duties. Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or 1 year of CMA experience.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or certification obtained within first year.
• Maintains BLS certification.
• Delivers outstanding customer service in line with standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with patient care and clerical tasks.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient charts.
• Provide information to patients to help them utilize clinic services.
