• Obtain patient history and vital signs to support examinations.
• Prepare and maintain examination and treatment areas.
• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as directed.
• Screen and follow up on test results.
• Maintain medication records and assist with administration.
• Understand reporting requirements to labs and departments.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care procedures as required.
• Assists with diagnostic and therapeutic treatments.
• Takes and records vital signs, height and weight.
• Cares for patients receiving oxygen therapy.
• Collects specimens for tests and may perform venipunctures.
• Greets patients, registers them, and handles payor information.
• Posts charges and payments to patient accounts daily.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety in the clinic.
