Job summary

USA Clinics Group in Altoona, PA is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to support our clinical team across our Altoona, State College, and Johnstown clinics. You will greet patients, prepare exam rooms, assist with procedures, and handle scheduling and patient records to maintain an efficient workflow.

Requirements include a High School Diploma, 1–2 years of hands-on clinical experience, and experience with vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, and injections.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role required.
• Experience performing vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection required.
• Certified CMA/RMA/CCMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a comfortable experience.
• Prepare examination rooms and assist with medical procedures as directed.
• Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and managing patient records.
• Maintain a clean and organized medical environment, sterilize equipment and ensure proper function.
• Educate patients on medication instructions and post-procedure care.
• Support the medical team with additional tasks as required.
