Job summary

ProCare Injury Specialists in Austin, TX is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our pain management clinic. You will aid providers during injections and procedures, prepare patients, and help maintain a welcoming, organized clinical environment.

This full-time, non-exempt role offers competitive pay and benefits including health insurance, 401k, life insurance, and PTO. Bilingual Spanish is preferred, with opportunities to grow in patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Experience in healthcare or rehabilitation desirable.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist pain management provider with in-office injections and minor procedures.
• Answer patient inquiries with empathy and clear information.
• Provide post-care instructions for clinic and home.
• Keep treatment areas clean, organized and stocked with necessary medical supplies and equipment.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and team members to streamline patient care.
• Handle phone messages and coordinate patient, physician, and pharmacy communications.
• Other duties as assigned.
