Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Recent Medical Assistant experience required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medical environment.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Computer proficiency, including keyboarding, Microsoft Office, and eClinicalWorks or similar Electronic Medical Record platform.
• Proficient in typing, spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Ability to exhibit core values (Honesty, Respect, Teamwork, Professionalism, Confidentiality, Quality of Care).
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with superiors and peers.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to exam room and treatment room; assist physician in procedures.
• Interview patients to obtain medical histories and input data into EMR.
• Collect medical data to help physicians assess patient needs.
• Prepare treatment rooms for examinations.
• Clean and disinfect exam rooms and restock supplies.
• Assist RN in preparing patients for clinic or OR procedures; monitor recovery.
• Maintain patient communication after treatment to monitor progress.
• Adapt to changing workflows and procedures.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Keep clinic orderly and follow cleaning protocols.
• Perform other duties to support CPIhealth’s mission.
