Job summary

Metro Vein Centers seeks a patient-focused Medical Assistant to support physicians in a fast-paced outpatient vascular and vein clinic environment. You will room patients, obtain vitals, assist with procedures, and document in the EMR to ensure an exceptional patient experience during each visit.

This role offers hands-on patient care, procedural support, and long-term growth within a collaborative outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Medical Assistant certification or formal Medical Assistant training preferred
• CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent certifications strongly encouraged
• Understanding of medical terminology, patient intake, vitals, and clinical workflows
• Prior experience in outpatient clinic, specialty practice, urgent care, surgical, vascular, cosmetic, or procedural setting strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs
• Support physicians during in-office procedures and treatments
• Prepare exam and procedure rooms for daily clinic flow
• Assist with patient intake, triage, and EMR documentation
• Educate patients before and after procedures
• Collaborate with front desk and clinical teams to ensure a seamless patient experience
• Maintain clinic organization, cleanliness, and inventory throughout the day
