St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Medical Assistant to support healthcare management and assist clinical teams. Responsibilities include patient care, appointment scheduling, and maintaining medical records. Candidates should have healthcare experience and current BLS/CPR certification.

The Medical Assistant’s primary responsibility is to assist in delivering healthcare management for the practice. This includes actively supporting primary clinical teams and demonstrating the values of the organization. The Medical Assistant works under supervision from the practice manager, physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.
Requires sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods, continual use of fingers, occasional lifting up to 25 pounds, pushing carts and wheelchairs, and reaching above shoulder level. Good hearing and visual acuity are required.
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred. Two years of healthcare experience and customer service experience are preferred. Current BLS/CPR certification is required within 60 days of hire, through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
A 30/60/90 day onboarding checklist will be completed for new or transferred employees to confirm mastery of skills, with records retained at the practice location.
