Position Summary

VMH has a full-time opening for a Medical Assistant. This position is based primarily at the Viroqua Specialty Clinic, located in our Viroqua medical office building.

Responsibilities include

• Rooming patients and preparing them for examination
• Taking and accurately recording vital signs
• Assisting nurses and providers with clinical and clerical duties
• Supporting various laboratory procedures as needed

Schedule & Requirements

• Four or five work week
• previous orthopedic experience preferred
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program required
• Current CPR certification required
• Medical Assistant certification strongly preferred
• Minimum starting wage of $20.53 per hour, with higher rates based on experience
