BayCare Health System in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Medical Assistant or LPN who delivers friendly, patient-centered care in a multi-specialty setting. This full-time role supports clinical operations, patient histories, basic lab work, and EMR documentation, with a 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday schedule.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, BLS, and MA certification eligible within 6 months; experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred Technical Medical Assistant certification or similar credential.
• BLS Basic Life Support required; MA license/certification eligible within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Take patient histories and perform routine lab procedures.
• Prepare specimens for transport to the lab and follow up on test orders.
• Maintain EMR and ensure accurate documentation for patients.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and proper operation of medical equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
