Job summary

Premier Health Partners’ Clinical Neuroscience Institute seeks a Certified Medical Assistant for the Premier Physician Network. The role handles rooming patients, taking vitals, and basic procedures under supervision.

You will perform injections, EKGs, lab tests, wound care, and ensure accurate documentation. Ambulatory care experience is preferred; CPR within 3 months and EPIC EMR familiarity are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; CMA certified
• Graduated from a recognized CMA program
• Ambulatory health care experience preferred
• Ability to learn center tasks and assist management/physicians
• Self-motivated to achieve high patient care and customer service standards
• CPR certified within first 3 months of employment
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR preferred
• HIPAA knowledge required

The Clinical Neuroscience Institute (MA or LPN)

FT / 80 hours per pay

Summary Of Position

A Certified Medical Assistant for the Premier Physician Network will typically see upwards of 30 patients per day, and is responsible for general clinical and procedural patient care, under supervision of the Practice Manager and/or center Physicians/Providers.

Our Certified Medical Assistants are an integral part of our offices, and are relied upon to assist in delivering the very best in Patient Experience. Every patient, every time.

Nature and Scope

Independently performed proceduresmay include, but is not limited to, rooming patients and collecting vitals, pulmonary function tests, administration of injections, EKGs, breathing treatments, lab testing, dressing changes, wound cleaning, hearing and vision tests, and other duties as assigned. Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills will be an ongoing expectation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent certificate
• Qualified applicants must be a Certified Medical Assistant, and will have graduated from a recognized Medical Assistant program.
• Prior experience in ambulatory health care facility preferred
• Ability to learn related center tasks and be of assistance to management and physicians.
• Self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards.

• CPR certified within the first 3 months of employment.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding
• Familiarity with the EPIC EMR is strongly preferred.
• Thorough understanding of HIPAA law.
