VillageMD is hiring a Medical Assistant or LPN to support patient care, prepare patients for visits, and perform point-of-care testing. You will collect vital signs, process specimens, and assist Providers with procedures to ensure a smooth, respectful patient experience.

The role emphasizes compassion, accurate documentation, and clear communication about medications and care plans, with a focus on quality care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant or eligible within 90 days, or active LPN license.
• 1 year of experience in primary care, family practice, urgent care or ER preferred.
• Current BLS certification preferred; required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Performs point-of-care tests and EKGs as ordered.
• Collects vital signs, histories and screenings.
• Prepares patients and rooms for visits; assists with examinations.
• Provides patient instruction on medications and diets.
