Hours: M - F 8:00AM to 4:30PM, 32 hours weekly.

Make a Difference

The Ambulatory Medical Assistant or LPN works closely with the Physician to achieve quality outcomes for patients. The Ambulatory LPN or MA will assist providers with patient visits and procedures, routine laboratory tests, referrals, and population health outcomes. They will also cover back-office patient care and administrative responsibilities during clinician absences, high census periods, or other needs identified by management. This position is located at the Cardiac Clinic, Community Heart and Vascular Hospital, 8075 N. Shadeland Ave., Indianapolis, IN.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

LPN

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or a non-accredited program with three years of related professional nursing experience. (Required)
• Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting. (Preferred)
• Licensed as an LPN by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA).

Medical Assistant

• High School Diploma or GED and completion of a Medical Assisting program or certification. (Required)
• Certifications such as CMA (AAMA), NCMA (NCCT), RMA (AMT), CCMA (NHA), or NRCMA (NAHP) are required.
