Job summary

CRH Healthcare seeks Medical Assistant or EMT professionals to support providers across Maryland clinics. Roles emphasize patient flow between examination and treatment, with travel to multiple centers as needed.

Positions offer competitive pay, benefits, and a schedule that includes three 12-hour shifts per week with weekend rotation and some holidays. CMA/RMA and LPN tracks are supported with mileage reimbursement for travel outside home region.

Qualifications

• Two years of clinical experience preferred.
• Ability to escort or transport a patient by wheelchair when appropriate.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• We do not accept CNA’s, or PMD’s.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical intake including medical history, medications, chief complaint, vitals and EMR documentation.
• Administer medications, dress/bandage wounds, draw blood and assist provider with procedures.
• Perform diagnostic tests including eye exams, ECG, audiogram, peak flow and other basic nursing functions.
• Perform DOT and Non-DOT urine drug screens with proper chain of custody; prepare for lab shipment.
• Monitor disposable inventory, medical supplies, and pharmaceuticals.
• Complete medical charting to document services rendered, test results and supplies used.

Work Schedule:Must be able to work three 12-hour shifts per week with a rotation on weekends and some holidays.

MApositions may require travel to multiple clinic centers across the defined region to support critical shifts. Access to reliable transportation is required. Mileage is paid for travel that occurs outside of your defined home region.

Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant(Certified, Certified Clinical, Registered, or a certificate of completion from your school is preferred, but not required) Must provide proof of current certification, if you have one.
• Nurse (LPN)Must provide proof of current certification.
• Two years of clinical experience preferred.

Experience:

• Strong customer service and problem-solving / communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of EMR system.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Perform clinical intake including obtaining patient’s medical history, current medications, chief complaint, obtain vital signs and records information within EMR system.
• Administer medications, dress/bandage wounds, draw blood and assist provider with any procedures in/out of exam room.
• Perform diagnostic tests including eye exams, electrocardiograph, audiogram, peak flow, and other basic nursing functions.
• Perform both DOT and Non-DOT urine drug screens, using proper chain of custody; ensure preparation for pick-up and shipment to appropriate laboratory. (On-the-job Training)
• Monitor disposable inventory, medical supplies, and pharmaceuticals.
• Complete medical charting to include medical services rendered, test results, and supplies used.

Hourly Salary Range:Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA): $17.00 - $24.00

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): $21.00 - $28.00
