Job Description

We are hiring for a Medical Assistant or Clinical Team Assistant, CNA at MaineHealth, Scarborough Primary Care. MaineHealth offers sign-on bonuses:

  • $4,000 for 0-1 years of experience (full-time MA)
  • $5,000 for 1+ years of experience (full-time MA)
  • Up to $2,500 for Clinical Team Assistants

Current MaineHealth employees are ineligible; former employees must be separated for more than 6 months.

Primary responsibilities include clinical tasks and administrative support, working closely with physicians or APPs to provide excellent patient care.

Qualifications
Medical Assistant
  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Graduation from an accredited vocational institution or community college in Medical Assisting with 160 hours of clinical experience, or completion of an Adult Education Medical Assistant program with 6 months of clinical experience, or 1 year of clinical experience in a multi-provider setting
  • Current certification from AAMA, NHA, AMT, or NCCT preferred or achieved within one year
  • Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days
Clinical Team Assistant
  • Graduate of an accredited health sciences program or similar clinical experience
  • Current BLS certification within three months of hire
