Job summary

Join the Vancouver Clinic Internal Medicine team at the Salmon Creek location as a Medical Assistant. The role involves rooming patients, collecting information, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with overall patient care.

EMT and CNA candidates are welcome, with on-site training to attain the WA MA-R credential. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week, with on-call opportunities and a pay range starting at 20.59/hour, plus a $2,500 hire bonus for new hires.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Required completion of one of: MA certification, formal MA program, US Armed Forces medical services training, EMT training/certification, or WA Nursing Assistant-Certification. Must obtain WA MA credential within required timeframe and maintain it.
• Current healthcare provider BLS required.
• Experience with an electronic health record; Epic experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and collect information.
• Prepare patients for examination and assist with delivery of care.
• Receive onsite training to work at top of scope.
