Duly Health and Care, part of the Duly Cancer Institute, is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Plainfield & Lisle clinics in Illinois. This full-time role supports physicians, handles registration, vital signs, and assists with procedures in a patient-centered environment.

You will travel to assist other local clinics as needed; certification in CPR is required or obtained after hire. The compensation package includes strong benefits and 401(k) matching.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant educational program or related study.
• Active MA certification through AMT/NCCT/NHA/ARMA/AAMA required.
• CPR certification required or willing to become certified.
• May require phlebotomy certification within 90 days of hire.
• Prior MA/CNA/EMT experience in a medical office.
• EMR experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs and collecting health history.
• Provide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes and other first aid procedures.
• Certified medical assistants may assist with immunizations or injections.
• Assist patients with prescription requests, address pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, update charting and filing.
• Conduct onsite lab testing including EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose and urine pregnancy tests.
• Maintain clean, warm examination rooms for patient visits.
• Provide excellent customer service: embody Duly Health and Care CARE values.
• Some travel to assist other local clinics may be required.

Medical Assistant- Cancer Institute | Plainfield & Lisle Full- Time, 40 hours per week.

Clinic Hours: Monday through Friday 8:30am to 6:00pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Completion of Medical Assistant educational program or higher education courses in health sciences or related experience required
• Several of our clinical specialties including Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Family Practice, require active medical assistant certification through one of the following: American Medical Technologists (AMT) National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) National Healthcareer Association (NHA) American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA) American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
• CPR certification or willing to become certified upon hire required
• May require phlebotomy certification to be completed within 90 days of hire
• Prior experience working as an MA, CMA, CNA, EMT or 2 years of prior experience working in a medical office assisting with patient care
• Prior experience using an electronic medical record preferred
• College graduates from a health sciences program interested in gaining patient care experience and in pursuing a career in healthcare are welcome to apply

Compensation

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $21.43-23.63 for a Medical Assistant; Certified or Registered Medical Assistant the base pay range is $22.97-24.57, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
