Job summary

Duly Health and Care in Lisle, IL is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians in exams, testing, and patient care. You will greet patients, collect health history, measure vitals, and help with registrations and scheduling as part of a patient-centered team.

Ideal candidates hold a Medical Assistant credential and CPR, with 2+ years in a medical office; phlebotomy may be required. This on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant educational program or health sciences courses required.
• Active MA certification from AMT/NCCT/NHA/ARMA/AAMA preferred.
• CPR certification required or obtainable after hire.
• Phlebotomy certification within 90 days of hire may be required.
• 2+ years experience in a medical office or as MA/CMA/CNA/EMT.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, vital signs and health history.
• Support physicians during exams, minor surgeries, dressings and first aid.
• Immunizations or injections support may be provided by certified MAs.
• Process prescriptions, pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, charting and filing.
• Conduct onsite labs: EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose, urine pregnancy tests.
• Maintain clean, welcoming exam rooms for patient visits.
• Deliver excellent customer service aligned with CARE values.
• Travel to assist other local clinics as needed.

Education

Responsibilities

• Certified medical assistants may assist with immunizations or injections
• Assist patients with prescription requests, address pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, update charting and filing

• Maintains clean, warm and inviting examination rooms for patient visits
• Provide excellent customer service exemplifying Duly Health and Care CARE values
• Some travel to assist other local clinics may be required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Completion of Medical Assistant educational program or higher education courses in health sciences or related experience required
• Several of our clinical specialties including Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Family Practice, require active medical assistant certification through one of the following: American Medical Technologists (AMT) National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) National Healthcareer Association (NHA) American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA) American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
• CPR certification or willing to become certified upon hire required
• May require phlebotomy certification to be completed within 90 days of hire
• Prior experience working as an MA, CMA, CNA, EMT or 2 years of prior experience working in a medical office assisting with patient care

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $21.43-23.63 for a Medical Assistant; Certified or Registered Medical Assistant the base pay range is $22.97-24.57, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
