Community Health Centers of Benton and Linn Counties (CHC) is seeking an on-call Medical Assistant to cover vacations, sick calls, and vacancies across Benton and eastern Linn Counties. The role includes phlebotomy, patient prep, specimen collection, and coordination with a dynamic care team.
The position requires MA certification and formal training, with immunization administration possible. Travel between clinics is required, and mileage is reimbursed. This is an on-call, non-exempt position.

Job type: On-call, intermittent, not to exceed 1040 hours worked in a fiscal year.

Medical Assistants work with health care providers to deliver primary care to clients of the Community Health Center by preparing patients for physical exams, recording health information, phlebotomy, collecting specimens, performing screening tests, and performing administrative/clerical duties related to the patient care process.
MA's work in a patient centered, team-based care delivery model serving a diverse patient population. This position provides support to proactive patient care and care coordination.

The following minimum qualifications are required for this position:
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted. Applicants must have at least 6 months of actual work experience to receive equivalency.
