Job summary

Work Partners Occupational Health in Grand Junction, Colorado is seeking a highly motivated Medical Assistant to join our team. This role offers a diverse workload, working with DOT and pre-employment physicals, drug testing, and EHR documentation in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll collaborate closely with providers, maintain accurate records, perform injections and venipunctures, and support patients with professionalism and empathy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CMA preferred.
• 1 year related medical experience preferred.
• Certification as Medical Assistant preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT and pre-employment physicals.
• Conduct drug and alcohol testing.
• Document visit info in EMR.
• Administer injections and venipunctures.
• Perform PFTs, respirator fittings, and EKGs.
• Maintain exam rooms (clean/stock).
• Assist with phone calls and documentation.
