Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Medical Assistant - NSG-Women's Health FHC - Bilingual Spanish/Graduate of accredited MA Program.

In this role, the successful candidate will perform supportive services to the health care provider and nursing staff in the care of patients in the ambulatory care setting in accordance with the policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

Daily duties include but are not limited to:

  • Point of Care testing (POCT)
  • Lab draw/phlebotomy
  • Interpretation services
  • Support OBGYN provider with preparing room with all necessary supplies and instruments

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify, you must have a High School Diploma or equivalency required. Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.

Required Licenses: Medical Assistant Certificate

Preferred Qualifications:
1-2 years of ambulatory care experience preferred.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $43,492.68 - $48,689.97 annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
