Medical Assistant - NHMP Womens Wellness - Norwalk, CT

Job Details

Location: Norwalk, CT
Schedule: 40 hours/week, variable 8-hour shifts between 7:45am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday.
Pay Range: $16.00/hr - $29.52/hr + $2,000 Sign-On Bonus.
Experience Required: Medical Assistant, CNA, EMT, or 3+ years relevant experience.
Minimum Education: High School diploma/GED.

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients, perform intake, document vital signs, medications, allergies, verify EMR information.
  • Update patient records with demographic, medication, social, and medical history.
  • Prepare and organize patient charts, complete paperwork, and scan pertinent information.
  • Perform EMR Orders Reconciliation and maintain a clean, stocked examination area.
  • Assist patients with gowns, supplies, and educational materials for scheduled visits.
  • Conduct in-office tests, coordinate external testing, and review instructions for procedures.
  • Collect, prepare, and process specimens; log results and reconcile in patient records.
  • Maintain medical equipment and supplies, perform audits, and ensure compliance.
  • Assist with in-office surgical procedures, if applicable, under RN direction.
  • Interact professionally with patients and colleagues, uphold service standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Information

Preferred: CPR certification, bilingual skills.

Salary: Hourly, based on experience, with range $16.00 - $29.52, plus sign-on bonus.
