Job Description

Part-time opportunity, 16 hours a week with one Saturday per month, compensation at $21 per hour

Provides clinical and technical support for primary care providers, implements care using electronic tools, monitors equipment, performs clinical testing, liaises with patients and healthcare team, and ensures continuity of care within a patient-centered medical home.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for visits, including telehealth sessions, using electronic tools and guiding patients on video technology.
  • Manage virtual telehealth sessions, set up exam rooms, admit patients, and assist with pre-visit preparations.
  • Support clinical teams with paperwork, records, scheduling, and administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with providers and staff to facilitate patient flow and care coordination.
  • Perform clinical tasks such as documenting chief complaints, vital signs, and conducting CLIA waived tests, EKG, hearing & vision tests.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, oversee supplies, and adhere to infection control standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service, maintain confidentiality, and comply with training requirements.
Qualifications

Required Skills and Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant course
  • Medical Assistant certification (AAMA, NHA) or registration (AMT)
  • Skills in EKG, appointment scheduling, medical testing, and computer use
  • Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Current CPR certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
