Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Temple, TX is seeking a rotating-shift, full-time Urgent Care Medical Assistant & LMRT to join our team. The role blends administrative and clinical tasks to support daily operations and deliver high-quality patient care.

You will perform patient intake, record vital signs, assist with medications, and conduct radiologic imaging within scope. A Texas LMRT license, BLS, and basic computer skills (EMR and MS Office) are required; prior urgent care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current Texas Limited Medical Radiology Technologist License (LMRT – Limited Certificate) including chest, extremities, spine, and pediatric categories.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer and prior to direct patient care.
• Basic computer skills including EMR and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• The Medical Assistant/ Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT) provides high-quality patient care and supports daily clinical operations in an urgent care or clinic setting.

Job Requirements:

• Current Texas Limited Medical Radiology Technologist License (Medical Radiologic Technologist – Limited Certificate), which includes chest, upper and lower extremities (including shoulder), spine, and pediatric categories.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Basic computer skills (EMR, Microsoft Office).

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited LMRT or NCT program.
• Prior experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or outpatient clinical settings.
