Qualifications

• High school graduate is required.
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or have at least one year as Medical Assistant or CCMA/NCRMA certification.
• BLS/CPR certification required within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Schedules tests and prepares specimens per policy.
• Assists physicians/nurses with procedures as defined on competency checklist.
• Coordinates patient care with care team; may record patient history elements.
