UChicago Medicine Northbrook is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our multi-specialty team. This 100% onsite role supports Gynecology, Urogynecology, GI, Transplant, and General Surgery, under RN/physician supervision, in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
The position requires graduation from an approved Medical Assistant program, one year of experience, and BLS certification. Healthcare experience with Epic, patient flow management, and strong communication is preferred.

Here, you will work with our Multi-Specialty teams which includes Gynecology, Urogyn, OBGYN, Gastroenterology (GI), Transplant, and General Surgery. This position is a 100% onsite opportunity. You will need to be based in the greater Chicagoland area.
Our UChicago Medicine Northbrook locationwill offer urogynecology and pelvic reconstructive surgery, gynecology (specifically endometriosis and uterine fibroids) and gastroenterology (IBD, general gastroenterology and motility disorders), as well as infusion (non-chemotherapy) and blood draw lab services.
A Medical Assistant, UCM Care Network, is an employee who performs a wide variety of patient care services under the direct supervision of a registered nurse, mid-level provider or physician in an office setting.

Compensation & Benefits Overview
UChicago Medicine is committed to transparency in compensation and benefits. The pay range provided reflects the anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position.
The pay range is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) and is reflective of current market data, reviewed on an annual basis. Compensation offered at the time of hire will vary based on candidate qualifications and experience and organizational considerations, such as internal equity. Pay ranges for employees subject to Collective Bargaining Agreements are negotiated by the medical center and their respective union.
