Job summary

Opsam Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide direct clinical and administrative support across multiple clinic locations including Rancho Peñasquitos and City Heights. The role requires assisting with patient prep, basic clinical procedures, rooming, documentation, and teamwork within a healthcare setting.

Under supervision of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician, you will perform EKGs, injections, and lab procedures while maintaining infection control standards and patient

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Medical Assistant Certification.
• Current CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms and inventory medical supplies/equipment.
• Screen patients for vital signs, allergies, medications, and medical history.
• Assist with injections, EKGs, and basic clinical exams.
• Document lab, x-ray, and chart forms; maintain accurate records.
• Translate between physician and patient and explain care instructions.
• Rotate to other clinic areas as needed and support clinic manager.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and referrals; assist in front office duties.
