Job summary

Summit Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians, PAs, and NPs with exams, patient flow, and clerical tasks. You will prepare exam rooms, assist during visits, document in EHR, schedule appointments, and help manage patient care.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program, and English proficiency. Basic computer skills are needed; BLS is preferred. You may travel to satellite locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares examination rooms and escorts patients to exam rooms.
• Assists physicians, PAs, or NPs during visits and procedures.
• Documents in EHR and maintains accurate patient information.
• Schedules appointments and processes referrals in PMS/EHR.
