Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited program required.
• Two years experience as Medical Assistant preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and EMR experience required; E-Clinical Works preferred.
• Knowledge of medical office management systems and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, take vitals and collect histories.
• Assist in examination and treatment under providers' direction.
• Update and file patients' medical records.
• Handle injections, immunizations, and prescription refills.
• Manage patient callbacks and coordinate admissions/lab services.
