Gastro Health is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant to join our team in a fast-growing, patient-centered environment. The role surrounds rooming patients, charting, triage, and assisting clinicians with treatments while prioritizing safety and patient comfort.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years' Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• CMA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients with proper flow and care.
• Update patient charts with accurate, timely documentation.
• Manage phone triage and route actions under provider direction.
• Assist with treatments and procedures per physician orders.
• Educate patients and provide compassionate care.
• Process prescription refills per clinic protocol.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure seamless patient care.
• Follow OSHA and health department safety guidelines.
