Job summary

Frontier Dermatology invites skilled professionals to join our Mohs Surgery team as a Certified Medical Assistant, based in Longview with travel to Gresham, Portland and Vancouver. Typical hours are 7:30am–5:00pm, with a wage range of $22.50–$29.00 hourly, and travel reimbursement.

• Overview: Do you enjoy caring for patients in a surgical setting in order to eradicate their skin cancer? Join our Mohs Surgery team as a dermatology Medical Assistant!
• Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant (Mohs team, and General Dermatology)
• Location: Longview primary location, travel required to other locations such as Gresham, Portland, Vancouver (travel reimbursed)
• Typical Schedule: Mondays - Thursdays, 7:30am - 5:00pm
• Wage Range: $22.50 - $29.00 hourly (Pay is dependent upon a combination of multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, transferable skills, business needs, and geographic market availability)

Qualifications:

• Must be Certified as a Medical Assistant through the WA State Department of Health
• HS Diploma, GED; and 1-3 months related healthcare experience or trade school equivalent. Experience in a surgical setting is preferred, but not required.
• Our surgical medical assistants must be comfortable in a fast paced environment; some duties include rooming and caring for patients for the duration of their surgery, assisting the Mohs Surgeon, patient education, and daily patient tasks. This MA will also be getting experience assisting in general dermatology on non-surgical days.

Washington Pay Range

$22.50 - $29 USD
