Frontier Dermatology is hiring a Medical Assistant to join our team at the Salem location with travel to other MidValley locations as needed. The ideal candidate will room patients, assist providers in procedures, and educate patients in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program, or Certified/Registered MA.
• Certified Derm Tech credential is valued.
• HS Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare exam rooms.

• Handle daily patient tasks in a fast-paced clinic.

• Overview: Do you enjoy assisting providers in procedures, learning all about a specific specialty, and getting to do a variety of tasks in a clinic setting? Join our team as a dermatology Medical Assistant!
• Job Title: Medical Assistant
• Location: Salem primary, must be willing to travel to all other MidValley locations as needed (mileage reimbursement available)
• Potential Schedule(s) Available: Varied Mondays-Fridays, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Qualifications:

• Must either be a graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program, a Certified or Registered MA, or Certified Derm Tech
• HS Diploma, GED; and 1-3 months related healthcare experience or trade school equivalent
• Our medical assistants must be comfortable in a fast paced environment; some MA duties include rooming patients, assisting providers in procedures, patient education, and daily patient tasks
• Our medical assistants must have exceptional customer service skills, be highly organized, and very detail oriented. See our mission below!
