Job Description

The Medical Assistant (MA) is accountable for assisting in the delivery of patient care in the clinic during office hours. The medical assistant reports to the Physician/Provider, Office Supervisor, and Department Director, and is responsible for patient care functions. The patient population includes all age groups: children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduated from a Medical Assistant Program. Documentation of completion must be provided at the time of hire for verification.

Preferred Qualifications

• One to two years of physicians’ office experience as a MA, preferably in primary care.
