Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our primary care office. The role involves performing phlebotomy and blood draws, providing compassionate care to patients, and supporting back office functions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct phlebotomy and blood draws to ensure accurate laboratory results.
• Provide compassionate care to patients, addressing their concerns and queries.
• Update patient information, including family histories and previous visit notes.
• Perform intakes for patients and room loading duties.
• Conduct vital checks and medication reconciliation.
• Prepare charts prior to patient visits.
• Prepare patient rooms for consultations and treatments.
• Restock rooms and supply closets, and manage inventory.
• Triage phone calls to address physician and patient questions.
• Update patient records and electronic medical records using EPIC.
  
  

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with an accredited diploma from a Medical Assistant school.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records
  
  

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience is required.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Patient, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
  
  

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
