For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering sign-on bonuses for Medical Assistants:

• $4,000 for 0-1 years of experience (full time)

Bonus eligibility details:

MaineHealth Primary Care - Family Medicine - Maine St - Brunswick is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to join our care team. The role involves patient care and administrative duties in a team-based environment, supporting smooth patient flow. The Medical Assistant operates under the license of the physician or advanced practice provider when performing clinical and patient care responsibilities.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

• Education: High School diploma or GED preferred. Must meet one of the following: graduated from an accredited vocational or community college Medical Assisting program with 160 hours of clinical experience; completed an Adult Education Medical Assistant program with 6 months of clinical experience; or 1 year of clinical experience in a multi-provider practice. Equivalent experience will be evaluated case-by-case.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current certification from AAMA, NHA, AMT, or NCCT preferred or achieved within 1 year of eligibility. Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date. For positions in New Hampshire, NH Med Tech License or NH EMT/National Registry EMT license is required.
• Experience: Relevant experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
