Job summary

Endeavor Health’s Cardiology group in Bannockburn, IL is seeking a Medical Assistant for full-time support. You will greet patients, collect vitals, and assist with phlebotomy and injections as needed, with travel to other locations and flexible hours to meet operations.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, CPR-BLS certification, and at least one year in a medical office; MA certification is a plus but not required. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of accredited medical assisting program preferred, but not required.
• CPR-BLS certification required; MA certification preferred, but not required.
• One year of work experience in a medical office required; on-the-job training available.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort them to exam room.
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for visit.
• Perform basic vitals such as blood pressure, height and weight.
• Provide front office support as needed.
• Phlebotomy and injections vary by specialty.
