Job description

Join the Maternal Fetal Medicine team at Salmon Creek as a Medical Assistant!

Responsibilities include: rooming patients, collecting patient information, preparing patients for examinations, assisting with overall patient care, and receiving hands-on training to work at the top of scope. EMT and CNA are welcome to apply.

Schedule: 4 days, 10-hour shifts, varying Monday through Friday.

Pay range: starts at $20.09/hour, with higher rates based on experience. For MA-C (Washington State Department of Health Medical Assistant-Certified credential), pay starts at $21.71/hour, with higher rates based on experience.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Required completion of one of the following: current Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified credential, a combination of experience and training resulting in a nationally recognized certification, completion of a formal MA program, formal medical services training in the U.S. Armed Forces, EMT training and certification, or current Washington State Nursing Assistant-Certification. Must obtain WA Medical Assistant credential within the required timeframe and maintain active status.
• MA-C requires: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, certification from a national certifying entity (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, etc.), and current Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified credential or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Current healthcare provider BLS certification required.
• Experience with electronic health records; Epic experience strongly preferred.

Pay Range: $21.28 - $29.78

PTO and Personal Time vary based on hours worked, with accruals of 120 hours in the first year for full-time staff and 200 hours for supervisors, increasing in subsequent years.
