An established healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join their team in Manteca. In this role, you will perform essential nursing procedures, assist with patient registration, and ensure excellent patient care within a collaborative environment. The Medical Assistant (MA) performs nursing procedures and patient registration tasks and procedures. The MA reports to the Clinic Supervisor, whichever is appropriate to the designated site.
This position will work at our Manteca Northgate West - Pediatric Clinic.
Schedule requires ability to work Monday - Friday, 8:00m- 5:00pm, with availability to work overtime as needed.
Compensation: $21.46 - $22.53 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Min. Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE OF: Basic MA and back office procedures and medical terminology. SKILLS: Basic computer skills and data entry skills; excellent communication skills. ABILITY TO: Handle multiple priorities, build positive relationships, maintain a positive attitude and a warm and friendly demeanor; efficiently work in a team environment; travel as required for assigned site(s) and designated meetings/trainings.
Physical Demands
Lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and push 100 pounds on wheels. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. High manual dexterity. Reach above shoulder level, bend, squat, sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, kneel, twist/turn, and good finger sensation. Hearing adequate for phone work and clear speech for staff and patient communication.

The noise level in the work environment is usually average.
