Job summary

HSHS Medical Group's Edwardsville-Family Medicine clinic seeks a Medical Assistant to join the Urology Team. This full-time, on-site role supports patient care and clinic operations with early start times and a 40-hour week.

Ideal candidates have completed an accredited MA program, 1+ year experience preferred, and MA certification or registration within 90 days. BLS is required within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Completion from an accredited Medical Assistant program is required.
• 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience may be considered in lieu of program per department discretion.
• Certification/Registration as a Medical Assistant required or to be obtained within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform hands-on medical care to support urology clinic operations.
• Assist with patient flow, documentation, and care coordination in the Edwardsville clinic.
