Job summary

HSHS Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Urology department in Edwardsville, IL. This full-time role requires completion of an accredited MA program and may consider 1+ years of MA experience in lieu of formal completion per department discretion.

Annual schedule is 40 hours/week with 4-10 hour days (6:45 AM - 5:15 PM). A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available and compensation aligns with experience.

Pay

Pay Range: $19.00 - $27.55 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

• Registered MA from American Allied Health (AAH)
• Nationally Registered CMA (NRCMA) from National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP)
• Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC) or Medical Assistant Certification (MAC) from American Medical Certification Association (AMCA)
• Podiatric MA Certified (PMAC) from American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA)
• Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) from International Joint Commission on Allied Personnel in Ophthalmology (IJCAHPO)
• Certified Clinical MA (CCMA) from National Performance Specialists (NPS)

Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) is required within 60 days of hire.
