The role involves rooming patients, taking vital signs, interviewing patients, preparing them for exams, assisting with procedures, drawing specimens, and maintaining clinical spaces per protocol. A Medical Assistant program diploma or equivalent experience is required.

The Medical Assistant roles a ssist with direct patient care, and performs specialized medical procedures of a routine nature, as dictated by established clinical protocol . Assist medical and/or nursing staff in the examination and treatment of patients.
