Job summary

Aurora Medical Group in Milwaukee is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers and patients in ambulatory care, blending clinical duties with administrative tasks.

You will take vital signs, prepare patients for exams, document in the EHR, and collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure a compassionate, efficient patient experience.

Must have MA diploma or 2 years MA experience; phlebotomy is preferred; schedule Monday–Friday, 1st shift.

What You’ll Do

Schedule: Monday – Friday, full time, 1st shift. No weekends No Holidays.

As a Medical Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in the care team – supporting providers, connecting with patients, and helping ensure a seamless, compassionate experience every day.

About This Location:

The Aurora Pulmonary Services clinic is in Milwaukee, WI within the Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center campus at 2900 W Oklahoma Ave. in the 2nd floor Galleria. The clinic specializes in diagnosing and treating complex lung diseases, respiratory conditions, and a wide array of sleep disorders such as sleep apnea, insomnia, and narcolepsy.

Physical Requirements And Working Conditions

• Must sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, crawl, kneel, climb, and reach above shoulders throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other team member, when available.
• Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case- by -case basis.
• Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch with ability to use fine-hand manipulation skills.
• Will be exposed to the following hazards on a frequent basis: mechanical, electrical, chemical, blood and body fluids. Will be required to wear protective clothing and equipment as needed.
• Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
